AliExpress Promo Code 2 October 2026

New shoppers are typically shown a set of first-order coupons shortly after creating an account, often described as a "Welcome Deal" or "New User Coupons". These usually take the form of tiered vouchers, such as a set amount off orders above a certain spend, and they generally need to be applied at checkout on a first purchase within a limited window. Some listings within a dedicated new-user section may also be offered at a reduced price for first-time buyers. As these offers change frequently and can depend on region and device, it is worth checking the current terms on the account or app homepage before assuming a specific discount will apply.

AliExpress does not run its own dedicated student discount scheme. However, occasional codes for the platform have appeared through independent student-verification services such as UNiDAYS and Student Beans, which require students to confirm their status with a school or university email address. Availability and terms through these third-party platforms can change without notice, so any current student offer should be checked directly on the relevant verification platform rather than assumed to be permanently available.

AliExpress runs an "Invite Friends" referral programme that rewards existing customers for bringing new shoppers to the platform. After logging in, a customer can find a personal referral link or code in their account, usually under an invite or share section, and send it to friends or family. When someone signs up through that link and completes a first order, the referrer typically receives a coupon, credited to their account within roughly a day of the friend's purchase being confirmed. New customers who join this way generally also receive their own set of welcome coupons. The scheme has monthly limits on how many referral coupons a single account can earn, restricts the number of accounts linked to one device, and is not available in every market, including the United States, so eligibility should be confirmed within the app.

Coins are a loyalty currency built into the AliExpress app, distinct from the separate Member Points system that determines a shopper's tier (such as Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond) based on purchase activity. Coins can be earned through actions like daily check-ins, taking part in in-app games, leaving reviews or completing certain tasks, and are generally worth a small fixed amount each. They can be applied to eligible products, marked on the listing page, to reduce the price at checkout, though usage is often capped at a percentage of an item's value and coins can expire if left unused. Coins cannot be withdrawn as cash and can typically only be earned and spent through the mobile app rather than the desktop site.

Free delivery is not a blanket guarantee across the platform, since shipping costs and thresholds are set individually by each seller rather than by AliExpress as a whole. Many listings do offer free standard shipping, particularly above a minimum order value, and a dedicated "Free Shipping" filter is available on both the website and the app to narrow down eligible products. Items sold through the "Choice" programme, which groups eligible listings for streamlined shipping, often come with free delivery when a minimum spend or item quantity is reached. Buyers in the United Kingdom should also be aware that orders above certain value thresholds may attract additional import charges, so it is worth checking the total cost, including any customs information shown at checkout, before completing a purchase.

Subscribing to email updates or enabling app notifications is generally presented as a way to stay informed about upcoming sales, new coupon releases and limited-time promotions before they might otherwise be noticed while browsing. This does not guarantee a specific discount, but it is commonly suggested as a simple way to keep track of seasonal campaigns and flash deals as they are announced.

AliExpress holds several recurring sales events throughout the year. The most prominent is the 11.11 Global Shopping Festival, also known as Singles' Day, held every November and treated as the platform's largest annual event. AliExpress also marks its own founding with an Anniversary Sale in March, and runs a mid-year sale around June, often referred to using the date "6.18". Further seasonal campaigns are typically observed around Black Friday and Cyber Monday in late November, a 12.12 sale in December, and various shorter promotions tied to holidays, back-to-school periods and regional events. Many of these sales include a "warm-up" phase beforehand, during which shoppers can browse and add items to their basket ahead of the main event.
