The range is split into three age-appropriate tiers, each reflecting where a child is developmentally. Wonder is aimed at children aged 3–5 and delivers between three and five play-based projects per month alongside a full-colour activity book. Odyssey is designed for 6–8 year olds, combining one to three multi-sensory science and arts projects with a supporting science magazine. Explore offers a more in-depth STEM laboratory experience for children aged 9–12, centred on one substantial engineering build per month, again with a science magazine included. Subscribers can switch between ranges or cancel their subscription at any time, which makes the service practical as children grow or as a household's needs change.

Every box contains all the materials needed to complete the month's projects there is no separate shopping required, save for common household items such as scissors. Alongside the main build, each box comes with an illustrated step-by-step instruction guide designed to let children work largely independently. The younger ranges include a full-colour activity book with games and creative exercises, while the older ranges feature a science magazine that explains the principles behind the build covering topics from engineering and physics to chemistry and the natural world. Reviewers have noted that the brand makes a point of using wood and paper components wherever possible rather than plastic, which is worth knowing for environmentally conscious families.

Prepaid plans on the UK site include additional free months as part of the package. A six-month plan comes with one extra month included at no charge, a twelve-month plan adds two extra months, and plans of eighteen or twenty-four months include three additional months free. This makes longer-term subscriptions noticeably cheaper on a per-box basis. The reassurance is that flexibility is retained subscribers can change age range or cancel at any time, which reduces the risk of committing to a longer plan.

As well as ongoing subscriptions, individual boxes are available as standalone purchases a practical option for birthdays, the school holidays, or any occasion where a one-time gift is preferred over a recurring commitment. With distinct tiers for different age groups, it is straightforward to choose something age-appropriate. A single box also gives families a chance to experience the brand before deciding whether a subscription makes sense.
