National Gallery Shop discount code valid in November 2026

Yes. New subscribers to the National Gallery Shop newsletter receive 10% off their next order. Upon signing up, a unique discount code is sent directly to the inbox, ready to use at checkout. Beyond the welcome saving, newsletter subscribers benefit from regular updates on new arrivals, seasonal promotions, and upcoming exhibition news, making it one of the most straightforward ways to stay informed and save money on future purchases.

A National Gallery membership unlocks a 10% discount on all purchases made in the shop, both in-store and online. Members simply log in to their account and the discount is applied automatically at checkout. The saving extends to each and every visit throughout the year. Beyond the shop discount, membership includes unlimited free tickets to every exhibition, exclusive member previews, priority booking on events and courses, a 10% discount at the Gallery café, discounted audio guides, and access to members-only events. Membership starts from around £65 per year, making it particularly good value for regular visitors and frequent shoppers alike.

Free standard UK delivery is available on orders of £50 or more. For orders below this threshold, standard shipping starts from £3.95 depending on the size and weight of the items. International delivery is also available for those shopping from outside the United Kingdom.

Gift cards are available from the National Gallery Shop starting from £5, and can be delivered by email, making them a convenient choice for last-minute gifts. A gift card is a practical option for art enthusiasts who prefer to choose their own print, book, or keepsake from the collection.

The shop runs a range of seasonal promotions throughout the year, with offers typically appearing around key events such as Christmas, Mother's Day, and major exhibition launches. A dedicated Christmas shop features exclusive festive products inspired by the National Gallery collection, including a popular range of Christmas cards drawn from the Gallery's paintings. Clearance sales also arise periodically, offering significant reductions on selected items. Keeping an eye on the shop's homepage is recommended during these periods, as time-limited deals tend to sell out quickly.

At present, the National Gallery Shop does not operate a dedicated student discount scheme. Students looking to save are encouraged to sign up to the shop newsletter for an introductory discount, or to explore current promotions and clearance lines, which can offer meaningful savings on prints, books, and gifts.
