Yes. Free shipping is included as a standard part of the service and is highlighted as one of the company's core benefits. Customers who want their portrait sooner can opt for an Express Service at an additional cost, which shortens both the painting and shipping timeline compared to the standard delivery window.

PortraitFlip provides a 100% money-back guarantee alongside its satisfaction policy. If a customer is not satisfied with the final painting after using the unlimited revisions option, a full refund can be requested. The company also covers situations such as artwork lost in transit, items arriving damaged, or delays with the Express Service, offering repainting, reimbursement, or store credit depending on the issue. Return or refund requests must generally be raised within a set window after delivery, and refunds are processed after a quality check.

No. Orders can be placed with only 20% paid in advance, with the remaining balance handled later in the ordering process. This is presented by the company as a way to reduce upfront risk for customers before they see the final painting preview.

PortraitFlip runs an affiliate program in partnership with ShareASale. Content creators, bloggers, and website owners can apply to join at no cost and, once approved, gain access to banners, coupons, and promotional material to share with their audience. Affiliates earn a commission on sales generated through their referral links, with payouts tracked through a cookie-based system tied to each unique link.

Yes. PortraitFlip sells gift cards that can be purchased through its website, offering an option for shoppers who want to give the choice of a custom portrait to someone else. Under the company's return policy, gift cards are noted as non-refundable.

PortraitFlip regularly ties promotional campaigns to specific occasions and holidays, including Mother's Day, Father's Day, and other gift-giving seasons, when discount codes are featured on the site to coincide with guaranteed delivery windows for those dates. Shoppers interested in timing a purchase around one of these events can check the homepage or relevant occasion page directly, as promotional codes and their terms are updated periodically.

Support is available through a 24/7 live chat widget on the website, as well as by email. Each customer is also assigned a support manager who coordinates artist selection on their behalf, since PortraitFlip works with a large network of artists rather than allowing customers to choose one directly.

PortraitFlip has built a public review presence on Trustpilot, where it maintains a strong average rating, and the company states it has served tens of thousands of customers. Reviews commonly reference the realism of the finished paintings, communication during the process, and the preview-and-revision system used before final delivery.
