Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Backfire Boards discount code or coupon available?
The store's own pages do not publish a single permanent coupon code that applies to every order. Discounts have instead appeared through promotions, newsletter sign-ups and the affiliate program described below. Because codes and sale prices change over time, shoppers are best off checking the official site at checkout rather than relying on a code from a third-party listing. Any code that is no longer active simply will not apply to the order.
Does Backfire Boards offer a newsletter discount?
The site invites visitors to join the newsletter as a "Backfire Insider," described as a way to gain access to exclusive offers and coupons. The exact value of any welcome offer is not stated publicly, so it is worth subscribing and reading the confirmation email to see what is currently included.
How does the Backfire Boards affiliate program work?
The brand runs an affiliate program through the Awin network, and signing up is free. According to the official affiliate page, approved affiliates receive a discount code for their audience worth up to $20 off and earn a commission of 5% to 8% on board orders placed through their unique link. The brand's own example shows the Zealot S3 at $799 and $779 with an affiliate code. Content creators typically promote links through blog posts, emails, social posts and videos. An older listing on the FlexOffers network describes a different structure with a 30-day cookie window, so current terms are best confirmed on the official affiliate page.
Does Backfire Boards have a cashback or loyalty program?
No cashback scheme or points-based loyalty program was found on the official site or in reliable third-party sources, so none is described here. Savings are more likely to come from seasonal sales, newsletter offers or an affiliate-linked discount code.
Does Backfire Boards offer free shipping, and how long does delivery take?
The store offers three shipping options: local, air and sea. Local warehouses are located in the United States, Germany, Canada and Australia, which allows faster delivery in those regions. Air shipping usually takes 15 to 30 business days, while sea shipping usually takes around 60 business days. The shipping page also notes that taxes and import duties are handled by Backfire, so no extra fees should apply unless stated in advance, and that tracking may not update until a package reaches the destination country. Some customer reviews mention that free shipping can be slow, so buyers who need a board by a specific date should check the delivery estimate before ordering.
Are there seasonal sales such as Black Friday or July 4th?
Yes. Backfire Boards has taken part in seasonal promotions in the past. Independent reviewers have reported Black Friday deals on its boards, including in 2020, and a July 4th sale that ran for about a week and covered several models. Timing and discounted models vary from year to year, so the official site and its newsletter are the most dependable places to see what is running at any given moment.
Is there a student discount?
No student discount program could be verified, so it is not listed here.
What should shoppers know about the Backfire Nalu electric skateboard?
The Nalu is the brand's small and portable option, sold as an electric surf skate and listed under the "Small & Portable" category. Verified customer reviews describe it as lightweight and good for carving, cruising and short commutes, and several praise Backfire's customer service. One buyer reported a long wait for delivery, which fits the general advice to check shipping estimates before purchasing. Current pricing and any promotions are shown on the product page.
How can shoppers reach customer service?
The site lists a contact page, an FAQ section and a customer service phone number, and it highlights local customer service alongside the 180-day warranty. These are the best starting points for questions about orders, codes or warranty coverage.

About Backfireboards.com
Backfireboards.com is the official online store of Backfire Boards, a brand that designs and sells electric skateboards and longboards. Backfire was founded in 2009 by two skateboarding enthusiasts. It originally focused on conventional skateboards and moved into electric models in the following years. The catalog is organized by riding style: entry-level boards such as the G2 and ERA5, high-performance street boards such as the Zealot X2, Zealot S3 and G5, all-terrain boards such as the Ranger X6 and Lorentz Major V3, and the compact, portable Nalu electric surf skate. The store also carries accessories (remotes, wheels, chargers, lights and similar parts) and has added an electric scooter, the M8 Rover, which is sold on a separate site. The store supports multiple currencies and languages and states that all products carry a 180-day warranty.
